THE OBJECTS OF THE GUIDE

From litres to objects.

Three formats to put an image to the volume that suits you.

01 / CARRY

A bag the size
of your day.

Start with the objects you carry.
Then leave them a little room.

S—01

1–3 L

POUCH · MINI SLING

Pockets, done better.

Phone, keys, cards, earbuds. To go out with just what matters.

A small 5K battery can find its place.

S—02

4–9 L

SLING · CROSSBODY

Wandering, hands free.

The essentials, a notebook and a battery. Depending on the shape, a compact camera or a small bottle.

Quick access makes all the difference.

S—03

10–18 L

SMALL BACKPACK

A light day.

An extra layer, water, a book. A small computer if a suitable pocket is provided.

The right format when you carry little.

S—04

20–28 L

EVERYDAY BAG

Your desk, with you.

Laptop, charger, tech pouch, lunch and jacket. Or a weekend with a minimal wardrobe.

A balance between space and bulk.

S—05

30–40 L

TRAVEL BAG

A few days elsewhere.

Clothes, wash bag and mobile gear. A flat opening makes packing easier.

Cabin volume is not enough: check the dimensions.

NOTE 01

Litres do not tell the whole story.

Two 20 L bags can fill very differently. The shape, the pockets, the opening and the comfort of the back matter as much. For a computer, compare the pocket's dimensions with those of the machine, sleeve included. These uses are markers, not guarantees of capacity.

Indicative silhouettes, not to scale. Markers designed for everyday life and light travel, without camping gear.

IN PRACTICE · 28 L

tomtoc · Travel Backpack 28 L

The tomtoc travel bag illustrates the top of the 20–28 L range: its suitcase-style opening makes access to clothes easier. Check its dimensions with your airline before travelling in the cabin.
