A silhouette to revisit
Unveiled at CES in Las Vegas on 5 January 2023, Inception remains a fine archive to look at to understand Peugeot's research. The concept stretches an electric saloon over five metres, with a low roof and an immense glazed area. The canopy descends towards the front of the cabin, down to the occupants' feet. Reflections change the reading of the volumes: glass visually links interior and exterior, while the three light claws keep a familiar landmark.
The concept as a space of freedom
Inception rests on the STLA Large platform and presents a vision of the driving position around the Hypersquare control. The interest of the project lies in the coherence between architecture, light and gesture: a freed surface offers the chance to rethink what we see and what we touch. This design manifesto is not a saloon offered in the catalogue. Its dimensions and its solutions mainly serve to make an intention visible, with all the freedom a concept allows.
