PICK NO. 04 · JANUARY 2027 · NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS
New Year's resolutions 2027: get organized, move, work, and travel
By Setup nomad
THE SHORT ANSWER
To keep a New Year's resolution in 2027, choose an item that makes the action easier: a LEUCHTTURM1917 notebook to get organized, a YETI Yonder bottle and soundcore AeroFit 2 open-ear headphones to move, a Logitech MX Keys Mini keyboard and a MOFT stand for the nomadic desk, a tomtoc 28 L bag for traveling light. An item does not replace a habit; it makes it simpler to resume.
January calls for lists. Most resolutions fade less from lack of willpower than from friction: the notebook left at home, the bottle nowhere to be found, the computer too low, causing neck strain. This selection starts with four common resolutions and proposes, for each, a few items that reduce the initial effort. Start with just one; the others can wait until February.
THIS MONTH'S GUIDE
Advice for the season.
One resolution, one action
Translate intention into precise action: write three lines in the morning, walk for twenty minutes, work for an hour without changing tables. The item serves this action, not the other way around.
Use what you already have
Before buying, look at what is sleeping in a drawer: an old notebook, a bottle, a bag. A purchase is justified when it removes a real inconvenience.
Keep it within reach
An item stored out of sight is quickly forgotten. The notebook on the table, the bottle near the door, the stand in the computer sleeve.

THE QUESTIONS WE ASK OURSELVES
The useful questions.
Answers to choose a gift that finds its place in a real life.
All gift guidesWhat item helps you keep a New Year's resolution in 2027?
Something that removes a specific discomfort: a notebook always on the table for organization, a water bottle near the door for movement, a stand to work without bending over. An object does not create the habit; it makes it easier to resume every day.
How to set up a simple mobile office for 2027?
Start with screen height and hand position: a computer stand, a separate keyboard and mouse. Add a second screen only if your tasks require it, and check your computer's ports.
Understanding ports and chargingWhat bag to choose for traveling with a single piece of luggage in 2027?
A 25 to 30 liter bag with a suitcase-style opening is suitable for short trips. Check your airline's cabin dimensions and pack your belongings before choosing the volume.
