A confirmed return

The "new 2 CV" now has an official face. In its press release of 11 October 2026, Citroën presents the 2 CV Concept at the Paris Motor Show. The rounded silhouette, the separate headlights and the ribbed bonnet recall the original, in an electric format of 3.76 metres.

The break is part of the journey

The most endearing details are also the most concrete: a canvas sunroof, an extractable front bench, a removable basket and Radioën, a radio that becomes a speaker outside the car. It is easy to imagine an improvised stop, a few belongings set down in the grass, without multiplying the equipment. It is this way of extending the cabin outside that interests us.

A project, still

Citroën aims for a model manufactured in Europe by 2028, with an ambition of a starting price close to 15,000 euros. This schedule and this amount remain announced targets. The fittings shown belong to the concept; the press release does not yet provide the final characteristics of the production car.
